Ruger 10-22 Barrel Threading

When we thread Ruger 10-22 barrels we are able to save the front sight for a bit of an extra cost if you would like to keep it more original. The way that we do it is that we cut the barrel to 16.2500″ and then we drill the through the muzzle of with a 1/4 and then with a 9/16 and then to finish off we either can drill out with a 27/64 drill or place on the milling machine with a 9/16 end mill to open up so that the ring will now fit over the barrel.

No welding required
